Game Flow

The game starts with one player, and each turn consists of three phases: Exploration, Event, or Combat. The flow of the game for each player’s turn is as follows:

  1. Exploration Phase: The player decides on their action for the turn, such as moving to a new room, looting the room, resting, or using a skill.
  2. Event Phase: If the player enters a room with an event, the event is resolved. Events can include traps, puzzles, encounters, or other surprises.
  3. Combat Phase: If the event involves combat, the player engages in combat with the enemy. Combat continues until the battle is resolved.
  4. End Player Turn: After resolving the event and combat (if applicable), the player’s turn ends, and it’s the next player’s turn.

Example Round:

Player 1’s Turn:

  1. Player 1 decides to move north. The other players choose to follow Player 1 and also move north.
  2. Player 1 enters a new room, triggering the room generation process.
  3. Player 1 draws cards from the table deck to generate the new room, determining the biome, room type, and event.
  4. Player 1 proceeds to the event stage and draws cards to determine the specific event that is triggered.
  5. Player 1 follows the instructions provided by the event card, resolving the event and any consequences or rewards.
  6. All players choose to draw the new room in their notepads, replicating the generated room for consistency.
  7. Player 1 ends their turn, and it becomes the next player’s turn.

Note: The game flow continues with each player taking turns in the same manner, exploring new rooms, resolving events, and progressing through the game.
